How Does Your Process Work?

In my process, we initiate with a prompt call to discuss the scope of each shoot. During this conversation, I outline what we aim to accomplish. Subsequently, I'll provide a contract and request a $100 retainer fee, which will be deducted from the total cost, to secure your booking. Once confirmed, we'll schedule a convenient date for the shoot. Following this, I'll furnish a proposal comprising three tailored options along with a questionnaire. This enables us to establish a concrete plan of action and develop a mood board, ensuring seamless execution on the day of the shoot. All you need to do is arrive and trust the process. Throughout our planning, I'll present prop and outfit ideas, ensuring every detail is meticulously curated.

Can I Have the Unedited RAW Images?

The short answer? No. I do not give out unedited RAW images. Part of what makes my brand unique and valuable is my editing style. Most professional photographers agree that they do not provide RAW unedited image files. A few things to note about RAW files are, first, they're massive. Second, they stripped-down images that leave the photographer a lot of latitude to add color, life, and pop to the image.

How Long is the Turnaround Time?

Images can be expected in 21 days After your shoot, the real work begins. Editing, when done right, takes time and a lot of it. I have entire work days dedicated to editing recent shoots. I edit in multiple-day sessions instead of editing all of your images and providing them in one day. I have found when I come back after a few days, I can fine-tune and hone in on different aspects to improve your image.

If you would like any images expedited, you may submit an emailed request. A fee of $100 will be charged.

What is Your Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy?

Requests to reschedule a shoot under 10 business days will result in a $100.00 reschedule fee. The original deposit will be held as a client credit for the rescheduled date. The client has 6 months from the original shoot date to reschedule to receive this credit before the cancellation clause takes effect. A request to cancel a shoot must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the agreed upon date of the shoot for a full refund. Cancellations under 4 weeks will receive 50% of their deposit back.

Do I Have Full Rights and Ownership of the Images?

Outside of digital advertisement and marketing, your images may not be licensed to a third party for printing. Requests from papers, magazines, and other publishers should be forwarded to Courtney Terry Photography for editorial licensing assistance.
